About Me

About AngieHi. I am Angie, an only child to my parents and had to managed her aging parents with complications due to their respective strokes. The task of handling them and managing my career became a struggle. I looked into the Internet to find for answers and there weren’t many out there.

So, I have decided to start this website to help caregivers out there who might be looking for information and are frustrated with the lack of practical information that one can use. I can relate to the exhaustion and the frustration that you may be facing. The emotional strain it has on you as a caregiver is monumental and difficult for anyone to understand unless they are on the same boat.

In this website, you will be able to find practical tips on managing your “golden babies” (this is how I used to call my parents), the right diet, elderly products/gadgets to ease your anxiety, what to look out for in a nursing home (if you need to look for one) and most importantly, stress relievers for the caregivers – YOU!

If you have any enquiries, please feel free to drop me an email to angie@caregivingforelderly.com
Hope that you will find this site useful for you.

Hi,

I’m writing you to see if you were still actively updating this resource page: http://caregivingforelderly.com/resources

My name is Norman with Drugwatch. I believe our educational guide on nursing home abuse would be a valuable addition to your website. We provide information on the physical, emotional, neglectful, and financial abuse of the elderly in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

http://www.drugwatch.com/nursing-home-abuse/

With 1 in 3 elderly residents as victims of abuse, we are making it our priority to get this information out there! Would you consider adding it to your resource page and help us spread information so our elderly and their families can make the safe decision in senior care?

Thank you for your time. Have a great rest of your day.

Sincerely,
Norman
